12- Fetal/Infant Death by Mother’s Race and Ethnicity

Data Source

Fetal/Infant Death by Mother’s Race is calculated from ‘Race’ on the Caregiver Adult Profile for clients who indicated Yes on ‘Fetal/ Infant Death’ with a date of death and a response to ‘Age/Time of death’ on the PMI Service Form during the date range.

Form: Caregiver Adult Profile
Questions:

  • Race

Form: PMI Service Form
Questions:

  • Fetal/infant death
  • Date of death
  • Age/Time of death

Troubleshooting Tip

Only birth outcome categories and race categories that are in the data are represented on the graphs and/or tables.

Reminder: A client is counted as having a Live Birth regardless of whether the date of death or age/time of death field is completed. If a client gives birth, then the infant dies after birth this will be counted as both a live birth (based on the date of birth) AND an infant death (based on the date of death).
